Candle care
With these tips the candle burns perfectly!

distance between candles
Candles should be placed at least 10 cm apart, otherwise too much heat will build up and the candles may melt or leak.

external influences
UV radiation, drafts and an uneven surface can negatively affect the burning of a candle.

burning time
The candle should burn until the burner plate is completely liquefied, otherwise the edge will become too thick and a tunnel will form.

proper storage
Candles should always be stored in a dry, dark place so that they retain their shape and color. Grave candles with a high oil content should always be stored upright!

tunnel formation through edge
If an edge forms, you can carefully cut it off with a knife after the candle has gone out. This is best done when the wax is still slightly warm and soft.

wick blooms/contamination
The ideal wick length is 0.5-1 cm. Longer wicks should be shortened with scissors before lighting. In addition, wick residues or other impurities should be carefully removed from the burner plate.
